Hanna Potieshkina's (Anna) imagery consists of portraits, shot not through a lens, but through a combination of techniques.
Fine line-drawn streaks make up the core of every image. Then she adds colouring with a careful disrespect to their original boundaries. The Ukrainian-born artist pairs sharp looks and lurking gazes with soft pallets and hazy edges. The effect is intense and pleasing.
