The remarkable Belgian architects over at AE Studio made this store their second interior design project for Café Costume. Completely in line with the Café Costume philosophy, we deliberately went for a vague conceptual border between shop, office space and the feeling of coming home.

Renovated in 2022 by Æ Studios , the store displays a modern interior with a central working table and two seperate measuring rooms. The Brussels tailors are always on the go to create an airy, open feeling in the shop, obtained by the combination of featherlight fabrics and fair colours.
Next door to the shop, you'll find The Gallery. A venue designated to welcome women who are looking for their own made-to-measure garments and outfits, the Café Costume way.

The original store has now doubled in size and was renovated by AE Studios in 2020. This resulted in a light and quiet space in which the visitor can compose his designs in comfort. In 2022 their services were again called upon in creating "The Boutique", Café Costume's first ever female-oriented shop. Conveniently positioned between the flagship store, our Atelier and The Bar it is an bright corner shop, with ample outside seating area for summer days.
