Tsar B has a track record in Belgium. We would only embarrass ourselves delving too deep into her discography, but feel save recommending you to do so. As with all our ambassadors, we had a sit down with Tsar B and talked suits, songs and styles!

“To me, a tailored outfit is like a spa, it’s a symbol for self-respect and self-love. And who better to envision this, than Café Costume?”

“In an alternative universe I would like to kill it behind the drums,” Tsar B confesses. “But I’m fine with being more melodiously gifted. I’m a melodic bitch rather than a rhythm bae.” That’s what she projects too, interested and engaging, and appreciative of others’ success or skill. “I respect skills, if you were to ask me what my dream collab would be, I’d say ‘Kanye’, hands down, but only musically”. This aligns with Tsar B’s take on style. “It’s a fluid thing, no? At any given moment, you think you know what your style is and feel confident in it. But every so often you come to the realization that it’s changed slightly - without any direct effort or reason.” Currently it’s somewhere between 70s Baroque meets New Romantic. Maybe some Y2K elements thrown in the mix, she muses.

For those who can clearly envision this style, it is a marvel to behold. Fact is, like suiting to her, balance is key. “To me there’s two kinds of suits: the 'oh-I-wish-you-wore-everything-but-a-'suit, and then there’s ‘the-best-thing-that-ever-happened-to-me-this-week-to-see-you-in-this'-suit. Safe to say I adore the second version. The risk is high, but the payoff is up there, too.” Through her outfits you get a clear view of how visual Tsar B approaches her music. Every ensemble, and every look is a testament to a clear concept, and the work that has gone into the preparation leaves nothing to be desired. “I’d consider Prince a style icon, he’s one of those elusive characters that can make everything look good. Unlike, say, Trump, who’s a perfect example of how to turn anyone off from wearing suits.”    TsarB is wearing:1.Luscious red double breasted suit with dorset buttons and a powerful shoulder, combined with wide, flared trousers.2.Guilefully patterned, sparkling white silk dress-blazer

The opportunity to create a Café Costume outfit has been on the musician’s list for a while now. “To me, a tailored outfit is like a spa, it’s a symbol for self-respect and self-love. And who better to envision this, than Café Costume?”
